LUAA Board of Directors

The Lehigh University Alumni Association (LUAA) Board of Directors assists the Alumni Association staff in strategic planning to ensure that the activities and programs of the LUAA are implemented in a manner consistent with the mission of the LUAA.

The Board of Directors consists of Lehigh graduates who have an outstanding history of serving and supporting their alma mater in various capacities. An open nomination process is held yearly in which names of potential candidates are submitted to the nominating committee. The nominating committee carefully selects the most qualified candidates who have demonstrated consistent service in diverse volunteer roles. The election is held at the annual business meeting of the Alumni Association during Reunion weekend.

The directors represent all alumni and are knowledgeable representatives of the university. The Board of Directors meets on campus (annual meeting/Reunion, fall and spring), where members coordinate programs and events connecting alumni, faculty and current students.

Members actively serve on standing committees which focus on engaging alumni with the life of the university. The current committees are community, graduate students & graduate alumni, and parents & families. The work of the committees continues between the on-campus meetings and board members serve as Lehigh ambassadors at alumni activities around the globe.
