Make Introductions

The Alumni Relations team wants to get to know our alumni constituency! Help us schedule visits with your friends and colleagues by making introductions. Let us know who you think would be a great person for us to know, and then introduce us!

Email Classmates or Living Groups

Looking for a simple and quick way to contact your classmates or other alumni with whom you shared a connection on campus? Interested in helping the various classes meet their attendance and fundraising goals? This opportunity allows you to select any number of alumni from a staff-provided list (minimum of 5) to contact and invite back to Alumni Weekend. Share Lehigh Alumni Relation's message of come back, give back.

Young Alumni Council Ambassador

Serve as an ambassador to the Young Alumni constituency in person, virtually, or over the phone
Represent the young alumni constituency to the Office of Alumni Relations, Lehigh Advancement, and the LUAA Board of Directors
Attend, in their entirety, two annual YAC meetings on campus (January/May)
Attend the annual Volunteer Leadership Forum (August)
Inform others about Lehigh’s events, services, and programs; be alert to alumni concerns that can be addressed by Lehigh Alumni Relations’ mission, objectives, and programs

Outreach Volunteer

Serve as an ambassador by providing leadership and promoting class unity, consult with classmates to generate ideas for events and communication strategies, and provide feedback to Alumni Relations staff.

Class Leadership

The class officers, committee members, and outreach volunteers work in tandem with Lehigh Alumni Relations staff to support their classmates’ engagement both during the 18-month build-up to milestone reunions and the five-year cycle between milestones.

Class Correspondent

Write a column (maximum 600-words) for the Alumni Bulletin three times a year.
 Serve as a central collection source for news about your classmates year-round.
 Lead by example by attending Lehigh University events with friends.
 Lead by example by contributing annually to the Lehigh Fund and encouraging others to do the same.
 Recruit peers to maximize participation in Lehigh and class-sponsored events.
 Recruit peers to volunteer with Lehigh and make contributions to the work of the class and university.

CISH Volunteer

1. Hosting home-cooked meals
2. Inviting guests to community events
3. Providing temporary housing before or during breaks
4. Providing local transportation to (doctor appointments, etc.)
5. Storing personal belongings over the summer
6. Acting as a good will ambassador to our international guests

Senior Alumni Council

The council develops programs and activities for senior alumni. There are currently a number of open positions on the council. The Council meets about four times a year.

Programs include:
• Winter Sports Happening or Cultural Events
• "Back to the Classroom Day"
• Senior Alumni Volunteer Recognition Luncheon

Visitors' Desk Greeter

Be the first person who prospective students and their families meet when they arrive at the Alumni Memorial Building.

Alumni Admissions Outreach/Parent Admissions Outreach

• Represent Lehigh at spring and fall college fairs in your community, in order to make personal connections with more prospective students and families and expand the reach of the Office of Admissions
• Conduct face-to-face or Skype interviews for applicants in the area or abroad, providing both information about the university, and returning details about the interaction to the Office of Admissions
• Help to identify prospective students in the community and act as a Lehigh resource for them
