Regional Club Volunteer

Purpose: 
To connect, engage, and involve alumni with Lehigh University and with one another on a regional level, in support of the university's mission and goals.

Each volunteer is responsible for establishing and implementing short and long-term goals.
1. Participate in at least 75% of monthly meetings
2. Plan one event annually
3. Support other volunteers by attending at least one event annually, that was planned by another volunteer
4. Communicate with your Alumni Association liaison throughout the planning and implementation of both events and communications
5. Lead by example by attending Lehigh University events and contributing to the Lehigh Fund annually as you are able

Goals:
- Inspire event attendance through personal outreach.
- Attract and retain active volunteers.
- Develop and successfully implement a diverse calendar of events throughout the year.
- Foster the development of a Lehigh alumni network in the related community and provide the opportunity for members of the Lehigh community – students, alumni, parents, etc. – to connect.
- Create an environment in which Lehigh alumni can network, continue to learn, socialize, and feel engaged with their alma mater.
- Strengthen the reputation and support the mission and goals of Lehigh University.
Support:
- All Regional Clubs will receive the personnel support they need to make their events and programs a success. This can include, but is not limited to:
Assistance in event planning
Development and layout of online invitations
E-mail communication and reminders
Coordination with other departments
Event supplies (nametags, gifts, speaker information, etc.)
Webpage maintenance
