Alumni Affinity volunteer

Purpose: 
To promote the relationship and involvement between our alumni and the university, and between each other.

Each volunteer is responsible for establishing and implementing short and long-term goals.
1. Participate in at least 75% of monthly meetings
2. Plan one event annually
3. Support other volunteers by attending at least one event annually, that was planned by another volunteer
4. Communicate with your Alumni Association liaison throughout the planning and implementation of both events and communications
5. Lead by example by attending Lehigh University events and contributing annually as you are able to the Lehigh Fund

Goals:
 Foster the development of a Lehigh alumni network in the related community.
 Enhance the opportunity for Lehigh students and alumni to enter and advance their careers in the related industry.
 Create an environment for Lehigh alumni to contribute to the academic endeavors of the University.
 Strengthen the reputation and support the mission and goals of Lehigh University.

Support:
 All Alumni Affinity groups will receive the personnel support they need to make their events and programs a success. This can include, but is not limited to:
o Assistance in event planning
o Development and layout of online invitations
o E-mail communication and reminders
o Coordination with other departments
o Event supplies (nametags, gifts, speaker information, etc.)
o Webpage maintenance
